Why Teach?

I love my parents. But my entire life and education seemed to be dictated by what they told me do. They always told me not to be a teacher. That it would be too hard and I wouldn't like it. "Be a doctor" is what they told me. I defied everything they told me when I chose my freshman year to go into education.

It really is because of these two crazy, amazing people that I decided to be a teacher. They are my inspiration.

I think this video has a wonderful way of describing what it means to do something love and to do it with passion. Thank you to Molly (an awesome former coworker of mine) for re-introducing me to the awesomeness of this video!
